Colonel Sanders

KFC

KFC or Kentucky Food Center
was pioneered by an American, Colonel Harland Sanders. Because his father died, his mother had to work outsides. Sanders had to look after his young siblings and cooked for them, also. He loved cooking very much. When he was a youth, he applied for a soldier, and after that he got married. Until the age of 40, he would rather have his own business. With his little savings, he could have a small gas station in Corbin, Kentucky. Then he began making fried chickens for hungry travelers, and that pleased them so much. One day Governor Ruby Laffoon visited there because of Sander’s fame that grew more and more. The governor made him a Kentucky Colonel since what he did made reputation to the state.

Later, he completed his own perfect recipe and basic cooking techniques. In his old age, he sold his franchising business that made much interest to many people. After visiting KFC Restaurants around the world, he died of leukemia in 1980 at the age of 90.
